전라남도 고흥군 동일면과 봉래면을 이루는 섬
전남 고흥군 동일면·봉래면
다도해해상국립공원에 속하는 섬으로, 내나로도와 외나로도로 이루어져 있다. 기암괴석과 깨끗한 바다, 소나무숲, 유자나무, 계단식 논밭과 사철 따뜻한 날씨 등이 섬의 특징이다. 고흥읍에서 25km 떨어진 해상에 있어 교통 사정이 좋지 않았으나, 1994년 고흥군과 내나로도를 잇는 나로대교가 놓이고 이듬해에 내나로도와 외나로도를 잇는 나로2대교가 놓이면서 교통이 편리해졌다.
섬 전체가 관광지라고 할 만큼 곳곳에 기암괴석이 즐비하고 나로도·발포·덕흥·남열·대전·염포 등 수심이 얕은 해수욕장이 많다. 이들 해수욕장에서는 간조 때면 백사장에서 조개를 주을 수도 있다. 주변 바다에는 어족이 풍부해서 일년내내 낚시꾼들로 붐빈다.
나로도 유명포인터
▶곡두여: 나로도에서 5분거리에 잇는 곡두여는 탕건여와 더불어 나로도 유명포인터로 시즌이면 꾼들이 반드시 찾는 필수코스이다.
▶탕건여: 남해중부권의 감성돔 낚시의 잣대가 될만큼 유명한 포인터로 내림감성돔의 대표적인 길목급소로 평균40Cm급의 준수한 씨알과 마릿수를 자랑한다.
▶고래여 : 탕건여 바로앞에 위치한 고래여는 수주여밭이 잘발달한 전형적인 감성돔 낚시터이다. 특히 남쪽의 홈통은 떼감성돔이 몰려드는 일급포인터이다.
